I was looking for a reliable company to repair my failed vintage Sony Amplifier and came across Wilkinson's HiFi. I contacted them explaining the issue that my amp was showing and was pleased to receive a prompt reply with some very knowledgeable details and initial assessment of the potential problem. Happy that I had found the right people to trust my old old amplifier with, I posted it off to them. They confirmed receipt of the amp and that it would be examined soon. All the way through the repair process, I was kept informed of the progress, the costs and choices of what could be done or should be done giving me the choices of how far to take the repairs. When the repair had been completed, I was informed of its return and received the well packed parcel. To say I was pleased with the results would be a massive understatement. The Amp now performs so much better than it ever did and I'm sure will give me another 40 odd years faultless service thanks to the excellent service from Wilkinson's. So long story short, if you are here, reading the reviews to assess if you should use Wilkinson's HiFi for a repair, take my experience of them and stop looking, you've found the right people. Thank you Wilkinson's 👌👌👌

It can be difficult when buying used equipment. Sometimes people pass on equipment which has been modified or parts replaced and not told the dealer. All I can say is Wilkinsons are honorable and reliable and you can have every confidence when buying.

My Nakamichi tape deck was faulty, would not play. Unfortunately, the approved Nakamichi service centre in Worthing has ceased the service of these superb machines, so I started hunting for an alternative via the web. Found Wilkinson’s, read good reviews so contact was made, tape deck dispatched and today, received back, fully functional again! They have worked wonders in finding a new compatible high quality motor, as Nakamichi spare parts are now as rare as hens teeth! Well done Wilkinson’s and many thanks, I can now listen to my tapes going back 50 years!

Fantastic advice and service, very friendly and knowledgeable. I had my SL1210 (1988) serviced and was delighted with the results. There is a room dedicated for listening to music through various systems with a great selection of vinyl. I highly recommend Wilkinsons HiFi to anyone interested in audio.

THE place to go for friendly but expert advice, whether you're a beginner on a limited budget or full-blown audiophile with deep pockets ! Nothing was too much trouble for Stuart sorting my Escape M1 streamer setup - now solved and sounding amazing. Can't wait to go back for the inevitable upgrade advice.

Sent my fully working cassette deck for a service and calibration because it was sounding a little dull. I was initially told I was looking at a 5 week delay which was not an issue. After a few days of them receiving my deck I received an email with an invoice attached telling me my deck was ready to be returned?????? I got my deck back and the first thing I noticed were the custom TEAC washers on the casing were all snapped up and broke (looked like they'd been over tightened with an electric screwdriver) and they tried to glue some of them back in place because they were caked in glue!! Then I noticed the manual calibration had been set incorrect and all over the place and could not calibrate any of my NOS cassettes?? Also their communication is terrible! I should of took note of the other bad reviews in regards to cassette decks!! They said I can send it back to them 'AT MY EXPENSE' but I simply don't trust them! BAD SERVICE!! Update Had a friend look at my deck and it turns out they had set the azimuth incorrect and the playback level was 3 dB too high.

Super friendly staff, very happy to help. Was glad to have finally found somewhere that will service my gear! Will update once items have been handed back :) Update - amazing! They re-soldered my amp and it works absolutely fine now, and replaced old capacitors on my turntable. Chuffed to bits!

We are absolutely delighted with our experience at Wilkinson’s. Every member of staff are pleasant and absolutely passionate about what they do. They have just completed a service on our Dual turntable we bought in 1988 and fit a new belt, it now works perfectly and carried out for a very reasonable price given the specialty of the work. We also bought a used CD player from them which sounds wonderful. Cannot recommend them enough.
